NDP 2008 Combined Rehearsal 2
For the coming NDP Combined Rehearsal, please note the following.
Date: 28 June 2008 (Sat)
Reporting Time: 12 pm
Reporting Venue: School foyer
Attire: PE attire with proper ankle socks and footwear
Things to bring:
- props,
- a shopping plastic bag (huge and strong enough to carry your own set of props; please do not use NTUC or Cold Storage type of plastic bags - they are not huge and strong enough),
- bottled water,
- minimal valuables
Rehearsal Venue: Floating Platform @ Marina Bay
Rehearsal Time: 1 - 10 pm
Please hydrate yourselves well on Friday so that you will not suffer from heatstroke on Saturday. Have a good brunch before reporting to school.

NDP Rehearsals in Wk 4 of June Hols
To all pupils involved in NDP 2008,
Please be reminded of the following this week.
1) Combined schools' rehearsal for NDP 2008
Date: 18 June 2008 (Wed)
Reporting time: 2 pm
Reporting venue: School foyer
Attire: PE attire with proper ankle socks and footwear (no slippers and sandals)
Things to bring: All props, water bottle, extra set of PE attire (in case of rain) and minimal valuables
Rehearsal venue: Floating platform @ Marina Bay
Rehearsal time: 3-7 pm
As per normal, transport and dinner will be provided. However, please remember to eat your lunch before reporting to school. All props and costumes will be distributed on that day to those who were not involved in the Media Brief. (Please note that you are to wear proper ankle socks, nothing lower or shorter, whenever you perform in the NDP costumes. Also, no visible additional garment allowed when wearing the NDP costumes.)
2) First combined rehearsal for NDP 2008
Date: 21 June 2008 (Sat)
Reporting time: 12 pm
Reporting venue: School foyer
Attire: PE attire with proper ankle socks and footwear (no slippers and sandals)
Things to bring: All props, water bottle and minimal valuables
Rehearsal venue: Floating platform @ Marina Bay
Official Rehearsal time: 1-9 pm
Please note that the Choir will not be staying all the way until 9 pm since we are the pre-parade segment. However, it is not known at this point what time before 9 pm you will be dismissed from the rehearsal. As usual, a 2-way transport will be provided. Dinner will very likely be provided as well.
Both rehearsals are extremely important because these are the first few ones at the floating platform. The choreographer may make more changes due to the space constraints and outdoor conditions (eg. strong winds). Hence, please attend both rehearsals.

Attire For All NDP-Related Rehearsals
This is an important reminder to all.
When you come back to school for all NDP-related rehearsals in or outside of school, please adhere to the attire stated below, except for full-dressed rehearsals or unless otherwise stated.
School PE T-shirt
School shorts (strictly no outside shorts)
School socks
Proper footwear (strictly no slippers and sandals)
Half-uniform attire (eg. school PE t-shirt and non-school shorts) is not allowed unless special permission has been sought and given.
The security guard will not allow you to enter the school if you are not in school attire.

Latest Update on NDP Media Brief
To the 10 pupils involved, here is the latest update regarding the NDP Media Brief. I've deleted the previous entry so as not to confuse you. There are some changes - yet again. Brace yourselves! Please read the following details carefully.
TWO Rehearsals
Rehearsal 1
Date: 6 June (Friday)
Reporting time: 9.15 am sharp
Reporting venue: School
Rehearsal time: 11 am to 1 pm
Rehearsal venue: Sylvia McCully's Dance Studio - Thomson Plaza
Things to bring: NDP props, water bottle, as few valuables as possible, a smaller bag
Rehearsal 2
Date: 9 June (Monday)
Reporting time: 8.15 am sharp
Reporting venue: School
Rehearsal time: 10 am - 12 pm
Rehearsal venue: Floating platform Function Rm 1 @ Marina Bay
Things to bring: NDP props, water bottle, as few valuables as possible, a smaller bag
NDP Media Brief
Date: 11 June (Wednesday)
Reporting time: 7.30 am sharp
Reporting venue: School
Time with the press: 9.30 am to 12 pm
Venue: Floating platform Function Rm 1 @ Marina Bay
Things to bring: NDP props, water bottle, as few valuables as possible, a smaller bag
A two-way transport will be provided.
After the rehearsals and media brief, we will arrive school at approximately 1.30 pm latest.
It is unclear, at this point, whether lunch will be provided. I think not.
