NDP Rehearsals in Wk 4 of June Hols

To all pupils involved in NDP 2008,

Please be reminded of the following this week.

1) Combined schools' rehearsal for NDP 2008
Date: 18 June 2008 (Wed)
Reporting time: 2 pm
Reporting venue: School foyer
Attire: PE attire with proper ankle socks and footwear (no slippers and sandals)
Things to bring: All props, water bottle, extra set of PE attire (in case of rain) and minimal valuables
Rehearsal venue: Floating platform @ Marina Bay
Rehearsal time: 3-7 pm

As per normal, transport and dinner will be provided. However, please remember to eat your lunch before reporting to school. All props and costumes will be distributed on that day to those who were not involved in the Media Brief. (Please note that you are to wear proper ankle socks, nothing lower or shorter, whenever you perform in the NDP costumes. Also, no visible additional garment allowed when wearing the NDP costumes.)

2) First combined rehearsal for NDP 2008
Date: 21 June 2008 (Sat)
Reporting time: 12 pm
Reporting venue: School foyer
Attire: PE attire with proper ankle socks and footwear (no slippers and sandals)
Things to bring: All props, water bottle and minimal valuables
Rehearsal venue: Floating platform @ Marina Bay
Official Rehearsal time: 1-9 pm

Please note that the Choir will not be staying all the way until 9 pm since we are the pre-parade segment. However, it is not known at this point what time before 9 pm you will be dismissed from the rehearsal. As usual, a 2-way transport will be provided. Dinner will very likely be provided as well.

Both rehearsals are extremely important because these are the first few ones at the floating platform. The choreographer may make more changes due to the space constraints and outdoor conditions (eg. strong winds). Hence, please attend both rehearsals.
